V.I.P. Agenda Sponsors and VIP guests of the first annual Lakeland Derby will enjoy a lakeside cocktail reception prior to the main race. Sip mint juleps and enjoy the picturesque views as jockeys prepare for the race. Bugles will signal the beginning of the Derby with a Parade to the Post. There, VIP guests will mingle with owners, trainers and jockeys and enjoy a close view of the swan derby. At the conclusion of the race, VIP guests will stroll to the Magnolia Building where they will be treated with a three course meal. Guests will witness the first presentation of awards for physicians who have made an impact in Polk County’s wellness. The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show. Attire shall be Derby Style – including hats. 5:30PM Reception
